City & Country approached Brands & Co to redesign their website with a clear focus on user experience, performance and flexibility. While their existing site housed a large amount of content, it lacked the clarity, speed and structure needed to support both customers and the internal marketing team.
Key objectives included:
Elevating the brand’s digital presence to better reflect its premium positioning
Creating a clearer journey for users exploring homes and developments
Introducing more advanced functionality, including property search and user accounts
Building a future-proof platform that could scale with new developments and content
Our approach combined thoughtful design with robust technical foundations. Working closely with the City & Country team and iNet Digital, we restructured the website around how users naturally browse property, placing imagery, developments and homes at the heart of the experience.
The website was built using Next.js to ensure fast loading speeds across a heavily image-led platform, delivering a smooth and responsive experience on both desktop and mobile. A fully responsive layout was developed from the outset, ensuring consistency and usability across all devices.
We also focused heavily on performance, accessibility and compliance, ensuring the site met GDPR requirements while maintaining speed and reliability.
As part of the build, we implemented a fully customised Prismic CMS designed specifically around City & Country ’s internal workflows. This gives their marketing team full control of the website without the need for ongoing technical support or outsourced updates.
With the flexible content blocks that adhere to brand guidelines that we designed, the team can confidently create new pages, update developments, publish articles and manage content across the site. This approach removes bottlenecks, reduces reliance on developers, and allows the website to evolve quickly in line with campaigns, launches and business priorities.
The new City & Country website delivers a cleaner, more cohesive digital experience that better showcases their developments and design-led approach. The refreshed layout improves usability across devices, making it easier for users to explore homes, understand what makes each development distinctive, and find the information they need.
The site now feels more confident and consistent, with a clearer hierarchy, improved presentation of content and a stronger connection between the brand and the quality of its homes. It provides a solid platform that can grow alongside the business.
Since launch, the new website has given City & Country a stronger digital foundation that reflects who they are today and where they are heading. It supports ongoing marketing activity, new development launches and customer engagement, while offering flexibility for future updates and enhancements.
We continue to work collaboratively with the City & Country team, ensuring the website evolves alongside the brand and remains aligned with their long-term goals.
